Lumia 535 is the very first Windows Phone smartphone under the name of Microsoft which replaces “Nokia” branding totally on the phone and within the phone. Globally announced in November, Lumia 535 was launched in Pakistan early this month. We also had a sneak preview of the device earlier, and finally a review unit is here with us from Microsoft Devices Pakistan.
Unexpectedly (or surprisingly – whatever you call it), this time it’s bigger in the package and it is exclusive trail box from Microsoft, which we think is an impressive job for some purpose. Here it goes below.
The black box packaging does not actually tell what’s in it, rather it seems to be like a surprise or gift box. Well, if I didn’t know it’s Lumia 535, I could not tell either. If you didn’t know, the Lumia 535 costs only Rs. 14,250/- in Pakistan.
Opening the box reveals a fully orange fixing layers of card board with the Lumia 535 upside down in the center, a two page folded card with “Lumia 535” branding on it, a USB flash drive on the corner and most surprise appearance was of the Coloud Boom headphones matching the green colored Lumia 535.
USB flash drive was found to have some applications for the Lumia 535 as well as some other material including photos, specifications, and user guide to help using the device. We’ll try to cover it in detailed review.
Instead of user guide or manual we usually see in a retail package, an unusual hello! note from the company’s CVP is present in a folded card with reference to some features from the Lumia 535.
Another, which is of course an important item with a smartphone, is the charger with the micro USB connector. What we see unusual on the charger is a label saying “Prototype” as we know it’s not a retail package.
The Coloud Boom headphones with the device is of course an item to just impress in first impressions and yet it did indeed.
The content you see here in this unboxing is exclusively for trial or review purposes. The retail package will not contain all of these items.
Retail Package may contain the following contents:
We actually loved the presentation of such a package, however it’s not for consumers anyway. For consumers, we are going to review the Lumia 535 and publish it here ASAP. If you have any questions about this first Microsoft branded smartphone, ask it now. Give your feedback below.

Packaging seems really interesting :-D Do you get to keep the Headphones? or at least the USB maybe? :-P
Everything thing will be returned back :)
The Headphones look cute, i hope their performance is as good as beats. Even if it gets included in package, probably the end user might not get it as shops might take it out of the box already to sell seperately :P
I have been using these headphones for a year. They are good indeed. The other thing you concern about is not correct. It's disclosed on the retail package what items are inside.
If that is so, its good. :)
