Apple Watch – Coming this April, Full Detail with Prices

During the “Spring Forward” event, along with the new MacBook, Apple has finally announced its Apple Watch. Unlike the visually classic looks of Huawei Watch and the other smartwatches, the Apple Watch does look like a modern day gadget.

Apple Watch is supposedly a personal device yet built up by the company. As they claim “Apple Watch represents a new chapter in the relationship people have with technology. It’s the most personal product we’ve ever made, because it’s the first one designed to be worn.”

“In conjunction with your iPhone, Apple Watch keeps time within 50 milliseconds of the definitive global time standard” the company says “It even lets you customize your watch face to present time in a more meaningful, personal context that’s relevant to your life and schedule.”

Apple Watch lets you set alarms, shows the moon phase, set timer, calendar schedule, live stocks, report weather, shows your activity, features a stop watch, provides access to world clock timing, prompts with the sunrise/sunset timings of the day. It all comes with a range of faces – traditional to playful and educational to artful. You can explore them and change as per your desire.

Apple Watch will be available as a regular, sport and edition – 3 models.

Apple Watch gives you access to your all-day activity. Supposedly, the three rings of the Activity app show your daily progress and help motivate you to sit less, move more, and get some exercise. It’s also an advanced sports watch, giving you real-time stats for a variety of the most popular workouts. Over time, Apple Watch learns your activity and fitness levels. It uses that information to improve the accuracy of your measurements and suggest personalized all-day activity goals. It even provides custom reminders to encourage you to achieve them.

Apple Watch also comes with pre-built heart rate sensor on the back of the watch. It collects data about your physical activity from the wrist area throughout the day. The sensor on the back of the case is protected by a ceramic cover with sapphire lenses and uses infrared and visible-light LEDs and photodiodes to detect your heart rate during workouts and when using the heart rate Glance. This allows Apple Watch to provide a comprehensive picture of your workouts and daily activity, suggest personal activity goals, and reward you for reaching personal fitness milestones.

Availability

The Apple Watch will be available for pre-order on April 10. If you Apple Store near you, then you’ll also be able to go into stores on 10th of the April and have a demo of the watches yourself. Retail sales will begin on April 24th.
