Huawei Watch from MWC 2015 – It’s Classically Modern

“As a diamond and just as beautiful, the Huawei Watch is the watch you’ll love to wear every day.” That’s what the Chinese manufacturer says. Announced at the MWC 2015, Huawei watch is complete round like classic but comes with more than 40 customizable faces.

The Huawei Watch is built of sapphire crystal that is the first in line of Android Wear watches. With first impressions, undoubtedly it beats any other smartwatch including the ones from LG, Motorola and even Apple. A bit from specs tells that it’s 1.4 inches AMOLED display in round giving 400 by 400 pixels with 286 PPI pixels density and high-contrast ratio of 10,000:1.

With over 40 interfaces to choose from, Huawei gives option of three luxurious cases and a range of fine-grain leather or stainless steel straps. They say “Huawei Watch is a work of art that you can make your own.” There are three color options to choose from – Gold, Silver and Black with leather or mesh metal/stainless steel band.

From within, the Huawei Watch supports 1.2 GHz Qualcomm proceesor with 512MB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM for the Android Wear software. Bluetooth 4.0 and other sensors include Gyroscope, Accelerometer, PPG, Barometer, Vibration Motor. There is built-in mic voice input and it’s backed up by a 300mAh battery.

The Huawei Watch is a pure craftsmanship as they company discloses. There are more than 130 components in the watch completed with more than 260 manufacturing steps, of which 160 steps were done by hand. Quality testing adds additional 650+ hours in the making.x
