Samsung Galaxy S6 Hands-On and First Impressions – Pakistan

While Samsung had already announced the Galaxy S6 and the sibling S6 Edge globally earlier last month, the company held a regional event in Lahore yesterday to launch the latest Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in Pakistan.

With the Octa-core power of two quad-core processors 2.1GHz and 1.5Ghz, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge come with 3GB DDR4 RAM. 5.1″ screen of quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 serves at the pixel density of 577ppi. It’s Super AMOLED dispaly on the screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Galaxy S6 Edge differs the design with the Dual edge glass on the screen’s both sides.

Like before, Samsung managed to set this event more like the stage show with celebrities amongst the guests as well as the hosts, along with the local singers including Shafqat Amanat Ali and JOSH to entertain the invitees. The launch event was pretty good for us too to have a first glance of the Samsung Galaxy S6. Unfortunately, why? we don’t know – in the experience zone, there were only Galaxy S6 devices to check up. We missed the Galaxy S6 Edge for sure which, we think, must be there as well during the launch – after all it was a big launch event by Samsung as always.

Our first impressions are very positive to this flagship as it’s compact enough to be a 5.1″ big device in hands. With its metal finish around  and the glass on the front and back, this change from Samsung is appreciated to be the first in Galaxy S line up. We really want to check the Galaxy S6 Edge too.
