Xiaomi breaks its own sales record – Sets the Guinness World Record

Xiaomi has just set a Guinness World Record for most mobile phones sold on a single online platform within 24 hours. They have just sold 2.11 Million phones in a single full day.

The company completed its 5 years on April 6th. While during their “Mi Fan Fest” event, the company bagged ~$335 Million (2.08 Billion Yuan) within 12 hours and sold total of 2.11 Million phones. The last year record was 1.3 Million sales with ~$242 Million revenue in 12 hours which was crossed this year in just first 8 hours.

In total, the company received 3.05 million orders, generated revenue of 2.08 billion Yuan, 2.11 million phones sold. In addition 770,000 Units of Intelligent Smart Appliances, 247,000 units of Mi Power Strip, 208,000 units of Mi Band, 79,000 units of Mi Wi-Fi and 38,600 Units of Xiaomi Mi TV were sold generating revenue of 190 Million Yuan (~$274 Million).
