Long awaited Android One has finally made it to Pakistan with the local famous smartphone brand QMobile – It’s QMobile A1.
The dual SIM phone QMobile A1 being the Pakistani variant for Android One carries the hardware including a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor (probably the MediaTek chipset as bundled with other Android One device), a a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 8GB of internal storage along with the option of micro SD card expansion, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera as well as a 1700mAh battery.
Along side the WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and radio, the QMobile A1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Supporting the GSM and WCDMA networks the phone will not run on 4G/LTE networks. So be noted!
The phone however is a low-end device with a lower price tag, the display plays the worst part being only FWVGA on a 4.5 inch screen serving only 217PPI. Around that price range you can get better options even from QMobile’s own range.
