Huawei has introduced its new low-end smartphones in Pakistan, Huawei Y3 and Huawei Y5 are the two device which are soon going to be available in local market nationwide.
Huawei Y3 is one of the next entry level smartphone from Chinese manufacturer to be brought in Pakistani mobile market. This smart phone runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS, 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor (probably MediaTek MT 6582M chipset) with 512MB RAM and memory of 4GB internal storage (extendable to 32GB with microSD).
Huawei’s latest EMUI 3.0 Lite proficient management system is built-in to Huawei Y3, which provides a simplified Interface of the EMUI 3 with Timeline Management and user-friendly design.
Huawei Y3 comes with a 5MP rear camera with Dual Flash light and 2MP front camera and features like low light management and ultra fast shutter speed i.e. 1.2s makes this smartphone best suitable for taking selfies and video calling. The battery power of Y3 is 1730 mAh backed with Ultra power saving technology which enables long hour’s functionality with unnecessary need to recharge. Huawei Y3 is 3G enabled and Dual SIM smartphone and the connectivity features Y3 presents are Wifi, Wifi Hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS/AGPS.
Although the Huawei Y3 is entry-level Android smartphone, yet the price of the phone has not yet been disclosed officially, we’ll update this post once the price has been announced. However after looking at the price in other regions we believe the Huawei Y3 will cost your around Rs. 6500/-
Huawei Y3 is priced at Rs. 8,499/- in Pakistani market. That is much more than the price in other regions which is around $64 only. There may be the difference after tax implication.
Another in the list of upcoming smartphones from the company is Huawei Y5 aka Y5c or Honor Bee. This smartphone also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor with Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset.
It is a dual SIM Android phone and has a 4.5 inch WVGA Capacitive touch screen display. It comes with 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera for selfies and video chats. 8GB of internal storage with option extend up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot and 1GB of RAM.
Huawei Y5 is also powered by 1730 mAh Li-Ion battery along with the power saving technology that can increase battery life up to 30%. This Smartphone includes connectivity options which are 3G HSPA+ Connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, Dual SIM and FM Radio support.
We also do not have official price for what the Huawei Y5 is going to be available in the market. Our guesses after evaluating the price in other regions, it will be around Rs. 7800/- We’ll update this post with the official prices once revealed.
Unlike our estimation above, Huawei Y5 is priced at Rs. 10,999/- in Pakistani market.

1730mAh battery - This is absolutely useless information. Can you be more specific and tell us how many hours you can
1) Idle your phone
2) Browsing internet
3) Playing
4) Using the phone
5) GPS
etc...
Nobody care about the mAh. However I can see more and more websites giving this information, for marketing purpose i guess. "Wow this mobile have a 34000 mAh battery, it's the best" and then the thing dies within 3hours because all the cutting edge stuff that requires a lot of energy to work properly.
