It’s being expected that Microsoft is going to launch its flagship devices, frequently rumored as Cityman and Talkman, in October. The leaks have been popping out of somewhere from different sources.
Recently leaked picture with alleged Lumia 950 XL in it, also referred as the Cityman, is not something like what we are looking at right now. The latest press renders as shown above came directly from the famous Evan Blass (@evleaks) shortly after an image of a device, with pretty same design and USB cable attached to it and the dock, surfaced on a German website Dr. Windows.
These official press renders seem to be more like polycarbonate builds which has already been used on premium Lumia devices from Nokia but the design is more like the 820 and 620 devices. With camera hump on the back it also appears to have triple LED flash with PureView branding.
Following is what appeared on Dr. Windows website.
A little overview around these devices according to rumors is as below
Lumia 950, the Talkman, will be sporting a 5.2 inch WQHD 1440p OLED display, Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with micros SD card expansion, 20MP main camera, 5MP front facing camera, 3000mAh battery. While Qi wireless charging and IRIS scanner will also be featured as well as USB Type-C connectivity.
On the other hand Lumia 950 XL, Cityman, was supposed to be featuring larger 5.7 inch OLED display with the same WQHD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. This model will be powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset with Octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM. 32GB of internal storage extendable with micro SD card. 20MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera will also be the same. It will be backed up with a 3300mAh battery which will be removable. This will also be shipped with wireless charging and USB Type-C connectivity.

God! Microsoft had 2 and a half years (Lumia 930 doesn't count actually) to design a worth sequel to Lumia 920/925, and this is what they could do their best? I am HUGELY disappointed
I second that. Hope these are false.
