Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor along with the Adreno 530 GPU is focused on the enhanced mobile gaming and mobile photography.
The Adreno 530 in the Snapdragon 820 is supposed to be highest performance GPU from the company which is designed to deliver up to 40% improvement in graphics performance and compute capabilities comparatively to the last generation Adreno 430. As well it is also will reduce power consumption by up to 40%.
Another thing is the brand new Image Signal Processor for camera, the Qualcomm Spectra ISP. This is dual-ISP and most advanced to-date which is supposed to provide greater quality of images out of the camera.
The Spectra dual-ISP supports the newest 14-bit sensors for a better range of colors and natural skin tones. The Spectra ISP also features a new hybrid autofocus framework and multi-sensor fusion algorithms leading to impressively improved camera image quality.
The new Snapdragon 820 with the Adreno 530 GPU and Qualcomm Spectra may be appeared in devices within first half of 2016. Till then expect more to be announced by the company of premium technologies inside the upcoming 820 throughout.
