While showcasing Cortana‘s capability of understanding commands and delivering relevant results, the CEO just got embarrassed when she couldn’t understand his command and brought up something else.
It was annual Dreamforce conference on Salesforce where Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella was delivering a keynote and demoing some productivity tools. He wanted to show the features from Windows 10 when in the middle of something he also tried to tell about Cortana’s ability to act on voice commands. That’s where Cortana failed to understand what the CEO just asked and brought up some irrelevant results.
Nadella asked: “Show me my most at-risk opportunities” – Unfortunately, Cortana brought up Bing results for “Show me to buy milk at this opportunity.”
After a big laugh in the hall, Nadella tried again but Cortana still brought up some reminders. Later he just excused by leaving it after another failed attempt – that was actually embarrassing.
