Huawei has officially released its new flagship Mate S smartphone during IFA 2015 in Berlin. It’s the first time that the Force Touch technology is being used in mobile phones. The phone comes in three variants – the Standard, Premium and Force Touch.
Huawei Mate S features the Hisilicon Kirin 935 chipset with two Quad-core processors making it an Octa-core. With a Mali GPU, the phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage options. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it.
5.5 inch display is AMOLED serving the full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and is protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. The phone features a 13 megapixels main camera features an RGBW sensor and optical image stabilizer. Front camera is 8 megapixels. However Force Touch display is featured on a separate version and may not be a part of the standard versions of the phone.
Huawei Mate S equips with the Fingerprint Sense 2.0, which is an upgraded version of the chip came with Mate 7. Fingerprint Sense 2.0 is claimed to be faster, more sensitive and has more accurate self-learning functions to improve recognition at twice of the speeds. In addition to unlocking the phone or securing payment applications, the fingerprint sensor in Mate S can be used to control notifications, scroll through photos, take selfies, answer phone calls and even dismiss an alarm quickly by simply using the sensor.
First introduced in Huawei P8, Knuckle Sense technology also advances in the Mate S with the Knuckle Sense 2.0, providing a host of new features and functionality at the tap of a knuckle.
Huawei’s Force Touch technology, however will be available in select markets, will be able to perceive different levels of pressure on the screen. That will actually allow the user to perform actions like zooming in to a photo or launching an app by applying increased pressure on the screen.
This technology also allows the screen to be used as an approximate scale. Huawei seems not to have enough applications for the purpose but they are promising to bring more new and unique Force Touch applications for the compatible devices in future.

I was really enjoying reading about this phone until I reached "battery: 2700 mah" and price " 75,000 PKR". Nope, I won't be getting it even if the 64 GB costs 60,000.
