Huawei has launched the G8 smartphone during IFA 2015 along side Mate S. A month later, Huawei G8 is all set to be launched in Pakistan in an economical price – as suggested by the company.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 is powering up the phone with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and a and 3GB of RAM. Built-in memory is 32 GB with micro SD card support up to 64 GB. Huawei G8 will come in an ultra thin metallic body and design featuring 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels.
Weighing 167 grams, the G8 is 7.5 mm thick and comes with 2.5D curved glass over the 1080p display covering the full front side of the phone. On the back it also has a fingerprint scanner.
The G8 packs with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, auto focus, Geo tagging, face detection, panorama effects and 1080p video recording. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera for video calling and selfies. According to press statement the main camera in Huawei G8 features optical image stabilization (OIS) to produce better low-light and unshaken photos.
The G8 packs a 13MP rear camera which features optical image stabilization (OIS), RGBW Sensors, Dual-tone color flash, panorama effects and numerous other features. The front camera of G8 is of 5MP and it comes with catchy features such as Perfect Selfie, Vogue Makeup, Beauty 3.0 and DIY Filter.
Huawei G8 is backed up by a 3000mAh battery which has not been rated yet, nor the company has provided any details on the battery life and consumption.
While there is no word about pricing officially yet from Huawei Pakistan, they call Huawei G8 to be an economical smartphone with 4G LTE support that comes loaded with unique and amazing features. The company believes that the Huawei G8 will be outstanding in selling point of view.

Considering the pricing in China ¥2822 (CNY / Yuan) and global price of $434, the estimated price in Pakistan would be roughly Rs. 45,000/- Which is absolutely not so economical as the company hints. So we believe the official price would be less than our estimation.
