Microsoft has thrown a big event this year by introducing a bundle of devices, all running on Windows 10 platform. Whether it’s an affordable Lumia 550, a flagship smartphone like Lumia 950 or full-fledged laptop. They also have announced the upgraded versions of their Surface Pro tablet and Microsoft Band.
The new Surface Pro 4 is 12.3 inch tablet and comes with Intel Core m, i5 and i7. The pricing starts from $889. While on the other hand the Microsoft Band 2 features a curved display and virtual assistant Cortana.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is the thinnest, lightest and most powerful tablet that can replace your laptop – as Microsoft says. At 8.4 mm thin, it features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display and 6th Generation Intel Core m, Core i5, and Core i7 processors, targeting probably everyone from students to professionals.
Surface Pro 4 is said to be 30 percent more powerful than Surface Pro 3 as well as quieter, runs cooler, and is even more efficient with up to nine hours of battery life.
The new Surface Pro 4 Type Cover transforms Surface Pro 4 from tablet to laptop. It features a redesigned mechanical keyboard with optimal key spacing which are said to be for fast and fluid typing. This Type Cover comes with an optional fingerprint reader for convenience and security of Windows Hello to existing customers as it is backwards compatible with Surface Pro 3.
The redesigned Surface Pen packs 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, letting you write, draw and mark documents with precision ink on one end and an eraser on the other.
Surface Pro 4 and its accessories are available for pre-order in select markets. They will be available for purchase in Canada and the United States on October 26th, with additional markets to follow.

Microsoft Band 2 is the latest fitness wearable having a new curved display, making it even more comfortable to wear. It also features Cortana which allows the user to reply, to texts or set reminders with the touch of a button. Alongside a continuous optical heart rate monitor and on-board GPS, the smart band still tracks calories burned, deep exercise and sleep quality but additionally it also records floors climbed. It maintains up to two-day battery life.
Microsoft Health is available as a universal Windows app, a dedicated app for iOS and Android devices, and via a Web Dashboard, which allow people to set wellness goals and receive actionable insights.
The pricing starts at $249, Microsoft Band 2 is now available for pre-order in select markets. It will be available for purchase in the United States starting from October 30th, with additional markets to follow.
