The recently kicked off Black Friday sale on daraz.pk seems to be a huge attention of consumers in the country as the sale day is not yet ended, “Easypaisa Shop” – one of the open payment options from the store has been removed.
If you are not familiar, with the Black Friday sale in Pakistan, where Daraz.pk offered namely discounts to the products, the store in addition partnered with Telenor’s Easypaisa. This included three payment options on the checkout phase – that if chosen, the consumer would get as huge discount as up to 70% or 25% of the total amount. While the the Black Friday is yet on, “Easypaisa shop” one of the three payment options has been removed from the store which indeed was the option one would use to pay on store.
Well it’s literally mentioned on the store promos that consumers won’t need to have Telenor number or Easypaisa Mobile Account to avail the additional discount. But now it’s important to have it or you will need to pay via credit card or a debit card on the Easypay portal if you want that huge discount.
You still have the option to avail additional discount but you have less chances that you could. Now you can’t just select the Easypaisa Shop option to pay via any retail store near you offering to take payment through Easypaisa which would have been the mostly used option on this day.
We don’t blame the store or the payment authorizing medium for not having such a widely usable option anymore and limiting the consumers to use Telenor/Easypaisa mobile accounts or at least pay with credit card or debit card. But we indeed have objections on their plannings why couldn’t they plan such a thing on the first place? what about those orders which have already been placed with that “Easypaisa Shop” payment option?
We can’t tell but this is just another bad example of bad planning. Anyway now, here is how you can avail the huge discounts.
That’s it, your total amount will automatically be reduced by applicable discount.
