It’s officially announced by Huawei Pakistan, the latest Mate 8 flagship phone will be available in two versions – 3GB RAM + 32GB Internal Storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal Storage for Rs. 59,999/- and Rs.69,999/- respectively. Previously we heard the the company will sell only the lower version in Pakistan.
We’ve been reporting on this specific device from the day one when it was announced in China and then globally. Just yesterday as we reported about the pre-orders of the Huawei Mate 8 are to be stated today, here it comes. But unexpectedly, this time pre-orders are not being taken online. You have to visit the authorized Huawei outlets or distributors and deposit an upfront payment of Rs. 5,000/- in advance.
For that, Huawei Pakistan has an exciting pre-booking scheme of Mate 8. The company has provided the dealers with gift vouchers for their pre-booking order placing customers. These vouchers will worth for Rs. 10,000/- and will be filled on proper format to fill customer’s credentials, so that only deserving consumer can be served. The voucher scheme can be used as discount on the time of Mate 8 purchase or as a “cash gift”.
As mentioned, the Huawei Mate 8 will be sold in Pakistan in both versions – the standard with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage, or the higher version with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage. Respective prices for both are PKR 59,999/- and PKR 69,999/-. Well, these prices are higher than we expected as compared to China, you will pay 10 more thousand rupees for either of the versions in Pakistan. For more extent, in China the higher version costs 60K Pakistani Rupees. For global readers, these prices are USD ~570 and USD ~670 respectively.
Also note that you can only pre-book the higher version of Mate 8 starting today. Hopefully, the standard version will be available along side the higher version on the expected launch date which is January 31st.
