The latest Infinix smartphone, Note 2 with 4G/LTE connectivity and Dual SIM was announced to be launched in Pakistan soon. The price of the phone has been revealed to be exact PKR 16,999/- With this you will also get 6GB of free data for 6 months if you are a Zong subscriber.
Having launched in Africa in November last year, the Infinix Note 2 took one and a half month to reach Pakistan considering the fame of their previous devices in the country. However the phone comes in two models with 1GB and 2GB RAM options, it’s not disclosed that which model the above price will tagged to.
Considering the price in other regions, 17000 rupees should be for 2GB variant or otherwise it will be hard for someone to spend that money for only 1 GB RAM. I really hope that I’ll be wrong to tell that the recent update on physical presence of the company in retail store would increase the cost as such as selling the 1GB model of Note 2 at this price.
I hope, unlike I thought, the company will tag the prices just like before. So keep your fingers crossed and expect good for the Note 2 with 2GB RAM at the price above. But also keep in mind that the phone only has 720p resolution on a 6 inch display which could still be a deal breaker. Read below for more information.
If you didn’t read before, the Infinix Note 2 comes 159.5 x 82.5mm profile, thicker as 9.3mm and a bigger screen size of 6 (5.98 to be exact) inch IPS display with resolution of 720p (1280×720) at pixel density of ~246 PPI.
The phablet supports Dual micro SIM and expandable storage supports up to 32GB via micro SD card in addition to on-board 16GB storage along with 1GB and 2GB variant options. It comes with the same giant battery capacity of 4000mAh as original Hot Note.
Infinix Note 2 has an upgraded MediaTek chip MT6753 with 64bit processor Cortex-A53, which is claimed to be 37% faster than original Hot Note on processing data.
Rear camera is 13 MP with Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL CMOS sensor and f/2.0 lens while the front facing camera is 2 megapixels and also features an f/2.0 aperture lens.
