Lenovo ZUK Z1 high-end smartphone launching on Cheezmall Pakistan

Cheezmall soon to launch Lenovo ZUK Z1 in Pakistan with free smartwatch and 6 months free internet from Zong, both worth over Rs. 7,000/- It’s the high-end Android smartphone running on CyanogenMod 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Cheezmall online portal was recently launched in Pakistan with promise to bring globally popular brands for Pakistani customers including smart devices. Lenovo ZUK Z1 was also the part of the launch last month along side the portal’s launch, however remained undisclosed. Now the secret launch of the high-end smartphone has been revealed on the Cheezmall portal itself.

Lenovo ZUK Z1 was launched mid-last year. The phone comes with a 5.5″ IPS LCD display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels

The ZUK Z1 is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. The smartphone features 3GB of RAM and packs 64GB of internal storage with no microSD card option. At the imaging department, the ZUK Z1 packs a 13MP rear camera and a 8 megapixels front-facing camera for video calling and sure for selfies.

ZUK Z1 runs Android 5.1 with CyanogenMod 12.1 on top of it. It’s is powered by a 4100mAh non removable battery and measures 155.70 x 77.30 x 8.90 in size weighing 175.00 grams. Following today’s trend, the ZUK Z1 features dual SIM. For more specifications in detail, read below.

The price of the phone has not yet been disclosed, but the features are promising only if the price remains within the mid-range otherwise it’s just another high-end phone with the higher price tag which has nothing to hype about.

In addition to the smartphone, the offering price by Cheezmall will include:

• Free Smartwatch, worth Rs 4,999/-
• Free 12GB Zong Internet for 6 months, worth Rs 2,100 (2GB/month)

While the price has not been disclosed yet, Cheezmall has given a hint in a specs sheet with differences from the American and Korean branded smartphones (let’s say it clearly Apple and Samsung). The specs sheet presents features of ZUK Z1 which in numbers easily beat both the brands where the price of the Korean brand ~55k is listed as lower than American brand ~75k hinting the price of the ZUK Z1 will in fact will lower than 55k. Our guess is Rs. ~40 thousands.
