Atif Aslam to be the next brand ambassador of Huawei Pakistan

According to reports recently started emerging, that the Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei is all set to announce Atif Aslam as their next brand ambassador for their smartphone brand in Pakistan sooner or later.

The teaser photos were spotted with a hashtag #StayInTouch which does not reveal anything but a reference to the connectivity between people. But a recent tweet from Huawei Pakistan’s official twitter account mentioning with the same hashtag clarifies the ambiguity and the connection between two different campaign recently appeared on social media.

Teaser photos are after the break, here is the official tweet from Huawei Pakistan

Not confirmed officially but it’s also told that the discussions between the smartphone maker and the famous singer were went for months before any settlement. Following photo teasers were recently spotted, some or all of which are said to be shot in Dubai during the Pakistan Super League.

One of the pictures shows the singer standing on a boat with a phone in his hands lighting up his face in the dark.

It’s true that Huawei has come up with tremendous activity while in Pakistan the company has shown huge interest with launching devices sooner after global launches. The company has managed to capture third place in smartphone market share but it has full passion to go upward. The new brand ambassador is just another approach for the purpose. Previously, Shehryar Munawar, Shehroz & Syra, Humaima Malik and Mahira Khan have been the brand ambassadors for Huawei.

It’s being expected that Atif Aslam will endorse the recently launched Huawei Honor 5X in his first reveal as a brand ambassador. You can take a look at the detailed specifications of Honor 5X which costs Rs. 29,800/- and comes with free 6GB internet data from Mobilink.

While this is not something unique to the company, hiring celebrities to endorse a brand name is pretty much common approach the companies take to promote their brand and products. Bring brand ambassadors from the rival companies is also thought to be a good move to show the market how much a new company is investing to have its share in the market. However you should expect an official statement from the company about the progress.
