Huawei launched its latest flagship smartphone Mate 8 in January and the same month, it was available in Pakistan in two different variants for 60k and 70k.
It’s just over a month when the Mate 8 was launched and in fact received appreciations from the industry as well as consumers but since then, there have been pretty good options from this year’s MWC where the devices like Samsung Galaxy S7 and its Edge counterpart and LG G5 have received great response globally. Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been started to be pre-booked in Pakistan. While the prices of Galaxy siblings are quite higher than Mate 8 brothers, it still could be a good reason to be considered as a threat for Huawei Pakistan making them reduce the price by up to Rs. 6000/-.

According to new prices, Huawei Mate 8 with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage, or the higher version with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage will be sold for PKR 54,999/- and PKR 63,999/-. Let me tell you here that these prices are still higher than what Mate 8 sold for in China. We already have concerns over Huawei’s pricing policies in Pakistan, they really need to consider it too.
Also note that this is a limited time offer which will end by April 3rd. After which you should expect the price to be same as previous. So if you were planning buy Mate 8 for any reason, this is the time to save some money.
