Inbox hosted Pakistan’s first “Software Defined Everything” event SDX

Technology executives left excited as speakers demonstrated strategies for immediately realizable cost savings and efficiencies

Inbox hosted SDX, a unique event focused on the “Software Defined Everything” nature of modern data centers at Marriott Islamabad this August.

Executives from leading disruptive cloud companies spoke about software defined networking and related technologies can enable enterprise customers to benefit from cost efficient, effective management of their data centers in an era of exponentially increasing data while turning the IT function into an innovation engine for their companies.

The era of Software Defined Everything is upon us but what does it mean for technology professionals spending most of their times keeping the lights on in data centers. SDX was born from Inbox Business Technologies’ desire to discuss actual use cases that will benefit Pakistani customers and will allow them to embark on the route to innovation, savings, efficiencies and supporting business strategy right now.

Global experts from companies on the bleeding edge of software defined technologies like Viptela, Plumgrid and Luminus talked to a packed house about advances in Software Defined Networking, Software Defined Wide Area Networking and Network Function Virtualization and how companies globally are using them to become more efficient and agile. The telling aspect of this event was that every talk was followed by a customer testimonial touching on success factors and technology & business benefits of actual implementations.

The event ended with live demos of technologies and technical deep dive sessions. Participants consisting of senior and executive technology professionals from the capital showed great appreciation for the quality of speakers, the technologies on display and specifically the practical nature of the talks, customer testimonials and demos.
