After acquiring 4G license in July, Telenor now has started its 4G service partially in 6 cities of the country including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, and Swat.
Telenor was officially awarded the 850 MHz spectrum license last month to launch 4G services in Pakistan.
In the cities where the 4G services have been started, the telco have mentioned that users will need to have their SIMs replaced to connect to Telenor’s new 4G network.
With this partial launch, the telco is offering a limited-time free of cost 4G services to attract customers and have the trial of newly launched service by Telenor.
Interested consumers may go to Telenor Service Centers in the cities where the services have been started, to get their SIMs replaced. Both the prepaid and the postpaid users will be facilitated.
