Initially launched in China first, Huawei Honor 6X is all set to make it in Pakistan next year – announced Huawei Pakistan. The most expensive variant of the smartphone currently falls for $237.
Like its predecessor, the Honor 6X also features a full metal build with a little better hardware features. Dual-camera is what Huawei has made much common among its many of the devices however unlike the high-end Honor 8 or Huawei P9, the dual-camera setup in Huawei Honor 6X is quiet different. The two cameras in 6X have a 12MP sensor with phase-detection auto focus (PDAF) and another 2MP sensor for depth mapping to simulate background blur effect (bokeh). On the front there is an 8MP camera for video calling or selfies.
Other features of the affordable Huawei Honor 6X include a 5.5 inch display with FHD 1080p resolution and the screen features 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, there is Kirin 655 16nm SoC that carries an octa-core CPU which is coupled with three different variations of LPDDR3 memory and internal storage.
While in China on launch, the Honor 6X was available in three variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. After seeing company’s previous regional launch portfolio we believe that you might not have all three of them in Pakistan. Our guess goes with the most lower variant or the most higher variant could make it in Pakistan.
The Honor 6X will be supporting 4G VoLTE networks. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 inside a unibody metal build and the device also features a fingerprint sensor which is as fast as it can unlock screen in just 300 milliseconds. The phone is backed up by a 3340mAh battery.
Huawei Pakistan hasn’t revealed pricing of Honor 6X in Pakistan. If go with official prices in China and some additional costs, following are the estimated prices you might have in Pakistan
Honor 6X will be available in gold, silver, grey, blue, and rose gold colors if all the colors were made available in Pakistan. Just take these variants, prices and color availability as a hint as Huawei Pakistan has not yet disclosed about these factors.
