Nokia TA-1000, First Nokia Android Smartphone receives 3C certification

Recent reports indicate that one of the upcoming Nokia branded phones has been granted the China’s Compulsory Certification (aka 3C). Attributed to HMD Mobile (Shenzhen) Ltd, the certificated has been issued for a product model TA-1000.

The 3C certification doesn’t reveal any detailed specification of the mobile phone, however it does tell that the phone the supports TD-LTE which covers bands from 33 through 44 including 1700MHz, 1900MHz, 2100MHz, 2600MHz and various other frequencies in 4G spectrum.

In addition, the certification also lists the power ratings as 5V/2A which indeed works as a standard charging for the devices now a days with larger battery capacities but it sure is not a fast charging device. So don’t consider it to be a flagship high-end smartphone.

Reports also suggest that the phone you are looking at right now could possibly be the Nokia E1 or Nokia D1C, the mid-range or budget Android devices currently in speculations with features like entry-level or mid-range Snapdragon chipset, a 5.5 inch screen, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and may be 720p display resolution.

But one thing is must that the Nokia branded smartphone will start shipping with Android 7 Nougat software out of the box.
