Alibaba Chairman, Jack Ma shows interest for investing in Pakistan, Discussed with PM Nawaz at Davos, WEForum

Jack Ma, Founder and Chairman Alibaba Group has shown interest to invest in Pakistan while speaking to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PM Pakistan.

PM Sharif, on Monday, went to Davos, Switzerland to participate in World Economic Forum 2017 and is currently present there, where technology pioneers meet political powers from around the world.

One of the many meetings just went through between the chairman of world’s leading e-commerce giant Alibaba Group, Jack Ma and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Jack Ma has expressed his plans of expanding the e-commerce platform in Pakistan while stating that they are having keen interest in investing in Pakistan after having closely followed positive economic developments in Pakistan.

“CPEC has provided immense business opportunities,” said Jack Ma while discussing with PM Nawaz Sharif about potential investments in Pakistan and the prospects of the $55 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Ma wants to support small scale industries in developing countries as well as via Alibaba Group, he has been facilitating 60 million companies worldwide, He informed Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister on his part invited Jack Ma to visit Pakistan.
