Initially launched with Huawei’s latest flagship Mate 9, the fully revamped EMUI 5 based on Android 7 Nougat OS was also quickly released as beta to Huawei P9, P9 Plus and Huawei Mate 8.
The Chinese phone maker also focused to deliver its latest iteration of Emotion UI to the sub-brand Honor which is already slated to roll-out next month. A road-map of the software launch on several devices including high-end and some mid-range ones has appeared to make their owners feel excited about it.
EMUI 5 which has been appreciated by many around the globe – even by those who never liked the previous iterations of the software at all, is hinting to reach company’s previous flagship models Mate 8, the Leica featured Huawei P9 and P9 Plus as early as within the month.
In addition, Huawei Nova is about to get EMUI 5 flavor in March whereas G9 Plus will get the software update in April.
Interestingly the recently launched mid-range Huawei 6X is also listed to get the Android 7 flavor in May along side a few others including Note 8 and MediaPad M3. V8 and Honor 8 are also listed among the few lucky Huawei devices.
