Initially launched in its home country in October, then teased by Huawei Pakistan later last year, and recently gone through a global launch at CES 2017, Huawei Pakistan has now officially launched the affordable dual-camera smartphone Honor 6X in Pakistan.
While most of you already know about the features, although listed below as well, the most anticipating factor here must be the local price of Honor 6X in Pakistan. So the official price of the phone has been announced and Honor 6X will cost you Rs. 28,999/- for the base model which has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
As the announcement suggests, this is the starting price of the phone so you can expect there will be a 4GB variant as well but it’s not confirmed yet. Considering base price which is far higher than the launch price in China and a little higher than the global price recently announced at CES 2017. Sure there are various factors in pricing and most important thing is the local taxes which makes up the price. But there are even higher prices in Europe and the UK.
Like its predecessor, the Honor 6X also features a full metal build with a little better hardware features. Dual-camera is what Huawei has made much common among its many of the devices however unlike the high-end Honor 8 or Huawei P9, the dual-camera setup in Huawei Honor 6X is quiet different. The two cameras in 6X have a 12MP sensor with phase-detection auto focus (PDAF) and another 2MP sensor for depth mapping to simulate background blur effect (bokeh). On the front there is an 8MP camera for video calling or selfies.
Other features of the affordable Huawei Honor 6X include a 5.5 inch display with FHD 1080p resolution and the screen features 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, there is Kirin 655 16nm SoC that carries an octa-core CPU which is coupled with three different variations of LPDDR3 memory and internal storage.
Honor 6X originally comes in three variants, the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, second variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, and the third variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB variant. Currently in Pakistan, only the base variant is available.

Honor 6X is now available in Pakistan at selected retail outlets across the country, costs PKR 28,499 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. Color options are silver, grey, and rose gold. For the price, Honor 6X comes with a bundle offer 12 GB data for 3 months and Zong will provide a free sim in the box. Users can register/activate that number from the Zong service center.
Huawei offers a one year standard warranty with Honor 6X as well as Huawei also provides accidental coverage Huawei Care+ and free postal repair service.
