Could This Concept Projector be the Future of Gaming Immersion?

If you are a gamer, not necessarily, you might have heard of Razer Chroma – the fully customizable RGB LED lights on their laptops, standalone keyboards or mice which are synced to the gaming experience and flash accordingly.

Razer has announced that Chroma will be available to 3rd parties as well as the lighting technology will emerge with the new “Project Ariana” which is supposed to give full immersion gaming experience with whole room projection.

Razer Chroma, the RGB platform for gaming has been shipped with more than 5 million devices to date. The Razer’s lighting technology has been integrated into top games like Overwatch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Shadow Warrior 2 and more. The company has also disclosed that a number of other partners including Lenovo, NZXT, Antec, Lian Li, Wicked Lasers and Nanoleaf will also leverage Razer Chroma platform for immersive gaming solutions.

Announced at CES 2017, Project Ariana is the high resolution video projector with an ultra wide-angle fish eye lens and capabilities to extend the gaming experience into the whole room. The Ariana’s system pairs with the 3D depth sensing cameras that automatically detects objects in the room like furniture and lighting then adapts the projection of in-game elements to the dimensions of environment.
