Report: Samsung finally finds out What caused Note 7 Explosions – It’s no surprise

After a long-lasting probe into the mater of Galaxy Note 7 explosions, Samsung has reportedly concluded that the battery of the smartphone was the actual problem causing the devices catch up fire and explosions while the software and other hardware components were found as safe, reported Reuters.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 explosions have undoubtedly been one of the biggest turmoils of last year – 2016, which led the Korean giant end up with halting production of its highest ranked flagship phone after trying recalling, fixing and replacing the consumers’ issues.

According to report, Samsung had completed its probe into its doomed high-end flagship phone that concluded the battery to be the main cause to the unfortunate explosions of the device which sure won’t be a surprise to anyone.

Reuters also mentions that the Korean smartphone maker will officially announce about the thorough investigation on January 23rd if everything goes according to their sources. It’s worth mentioning that Samsung is set to disclose its fourth-quarter revenue report the next day – on January 24th.

The report also suggests, while the company will be announcing its performance detail in the late last year, Koh Dong-jin – head of Samsung mobile business will also take the consumers into confidence ensuring them those problematic issues like explosions won’t happen again.

It sure was a fieriest tale of last year which indeed made Samsung try hard with it but in no vain. Getting progressive with technology, the firms really need to have trust in their products so they won’t harm its consumers in any way. While the unfortunate incidents happen, Samsung should also be appreciated for recalling the devices from all over the world in time – where it had been sold out, and even halting the further production which indeed put Samsung at one of its worst losses ever – 2.5 million devices in total were strictly ordered to return, resulting in a $5.2 billion loss.

It will be the high-time for the Korean smartphone maker to announce the findings of Note 7 explosions investigation and taking its loyal customers into confidence before launching its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8 is to launch sometime later next month or earlier in March.

IDC researcher has put his opinion for Samsung to reassure their customers as to how this won’t happen again – well it’s no rocket science to tell the company is right at the stage where it only has to show something that guarantees no such incidents in future. “They’ve got to make sure they come clean and they’ve got to reassure buyers as to why this won’t happen again,” said Bryan Ma, Singapore-based analyst for researcher IDC.

While the official announcement about the findings is expected to come in a few days, it’s all past and we wish Samsung best of luck for their next flagship which could satisfy their customers and the company gains its reputation as it had prior to the Note 7 explosions.
