Google intends to give voice and visuals to the imaginations, kids can have, with the help of Toontastic 3D – a new app for kids that will help them tell stories with playful tools for creative learning skills.
With Toontastic 3D kids can draw, animate, and narrate their own cartoons easily while playing. The app allows kids to move their characters around on the screen which can help telling their own stories. Toontastic also records voice and animations and then stores them as 3D video on the device.
“Toontastic is a powerful and playful way to create interstellar adventures, breaking news reports, video game designs, family photo albums, or anything else you might imagine.”
Google previously launched the original Toontastic in 2011 which also allowed kids to build most of the stuff with their little knowledge – “including book or science reports for school, design pitches, short stories and cartoons.” the new Toontastic 3D is an extension to those features with a variety of new ones along side the 3D illustrations.
“Over the years, we’ve worked closely with educators to build programs for kids to create through code, doodle their dreams, explore exotic locales with virtual reality, and even tour the Himalayas with a very friendly Yeti named Verne.” – Google stated with the announcement.
Toontastic 3D is available for Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded via their respective Google Play Store and iOS app store.
