With the recent conclusion of the Mobile World Conference 2017 and Glomo awards in Barcelona, comes a very good news for Pakistanis and especially the women in Pakistan.
JazzCash won the award under the category of Best Mobile Product, Application or Service in Emerging Market for Women. This was not an easy category to be winning in, as the category involved four other nominations from all across the globe.
The ceremony was attended by many, inclusive of the CEO/ President as well was the Chief Digital and Finance officer, Mr Aamir Ibrahim and Ms Sandhu, respectively. They graciously accepted the award and promised to further make lives better and easier for their customers back home by continuously innovating.
“At JazzCash we are determined to not just provide an enabling service but to also create financial literacy amongst women leading to a more empowered society” – said Ms Sandhu at the event.
JazzCash has not only brought just an award to Pakistan but has also taken a much needed step towards creating awareness regarding female financial deprivation in terms of their knowledge and confidence.
Being recognized on a global level will just add to the charm this service carries and will motivate the team to work harder and also put this rather trivial matter up on the table.
Thank you, JazzCash for making Pakistan proud on an international forum and taking a step towards bettering them. Hope this will not end here and more pleasurable moments will follow.
