Google started rolling out new Sign-in User Interface

Following a note on its sign-in page for a few weeks stating that that Google is “making it faster and easier to sign in to you Google account” with the title “New look for sign-in coming soon” has started to disappear with a new and even cleaner user interface in replacement.

It seems Google has started rolling out revamped user interface of its sign-in page on random basis. Company’s support page states the new sign-in page has a cleaner, simpler look, and makes the sign-in process faster. It’s even consistent across computers, phones and tablets.

Google also states that that the flow of the sign-in process will not be changed and users will still have to enter the same information as before including email address and password or the two-factor sing-in options. It’s simply the secure as it already was – the search giant claims.

What’s changed in Sign-in User Interface?

The new sign-in user interface will be shown up in a browser on the computer, phone or tablet. For instance, you will see it when signing in through a Google app or a Google service on a browser, like Chrome.

You will not see the new interface if you have disabled the JavaScript in your browser or if you are using an older version of a browser. As I tried it different browsers, the Edge browser is showing the old sign-in interface while the latest Firefox is also serving the new interface of Google sign-in page.

If you are not seeing the new interface as shown in the above image, you might be seeing a notification on your current sign-in UI as shown at the left. “New look for sign-in coming soon”, if you didn’t notice earlier.

Google usually rolls out a specific feature to select users, regions, devices or even browsers. If not already, sooner or later your browser will show up a new user interface of Google Sign-in page.
