Huawei News Exclusive: Huawei Mate 10 Launch Date Official Teaser is here – No More Rumor August 16, 2017 August 16, 2017 by Noaman Rasheed 7 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr Till now, we had the reported launch date of Mate 10, to be exact October 16th via different sources. Now we have an official teaser, from official means, to confirm the date as we knew it already. Huawei Mate 10 is now among the most hyped smartphones which are yet to launch whether it’s Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 or Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone 8. Mate 10 on the other hand is supposed to be the best of them all, as the CEO of the Chinese smartphone maker claimed earlier it’s going to be more powerful than the next iPhone. October 16th was the last known launch date of Huawei Mate 10. The official teaser image we received from some “official means”, however reflects everything we already know, writes “Meet the device worth waiting for” with the launch date and the venue – “Munich, Germany”. Huawei Logo is down there on the graphic but the reference to Mate 10 is only visible from the background with the numeric “10”. There are many more elements you might want to learn about the upcoming Huawei’s phablet. In addition to officially claimed “more powerful than the next iPhone”, the Mate 10 is going to have an EntireView Display with taller 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 2160×1080 pixels (little over 2K). The aspect ratio can also be translated into 2:1, height exactly twice the width. LG G6 has the same aspect ratio while the Galaxy S8 is little more taller with 18.5:9. Huawei Mate 10 is reported to have powered by Kirin 970 system-on-chip, with eight ARM cores and Mali G71MP12 GPU. Along side the phablet will sport 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of Internal Storage. Do not expect Android O to run the Mate 10, it will still be on Android 7.1 Nougat which is not an issue. Huawei will make its software upgrade in EMUI based on Android O. Mate 10 will also have a dual-camera equipped with 3D sensing technology and will extensively help capturing augmented reality content. In addition to an iris scanner, the phablet will sport 3D facial recognition. The phablet is going to have an improved camera with the Leica optics, allegedly from Huawei P10.
