Exclusive: Huawei Y7 Prime to launch Next Week in Pakistan, Check Price

Huawei announced its mid-ranger Y7 Prime in May, following the first launch in Hong Kong in June. With a massive 4000mAh battery, the smartphone targets the mass market customers who prefer longer battery life for their daily usage.

After a couple of months, Huawei Y7 Prime is now confirmed to go on sale in Pakistan market early next week. Expect the phone to cost between Rs. 24,500 and Rs. 25,500/-

Update – August 8th: Officially launched for Rs. 24,999/-

Huawei Y7 Prime follows its line-up of Y3 and Y5 to compete the direct contenders from Samsung’s line-up of J3, J5 and J7. The Y7 Prime will exactly stand besides Samsung’s J7 Prime which is currently available for Rs. 28,000/- and is powered by more common 3300mAh Battery.

Y7 Prime features only 720p resolution on its 5.5-inch display that’s below J7 Prime’s 1080p resolution. Where the latter gives a pixel density of 401ppi which is extremely sharp for everything, the former gives you around 267ppi which enough in most cases. However when coupled with a massive battery of 4000mAh, expect the Y7 Prime to give you more than double the time as would J7 Prime give you. In addition the storage on Y7 Prime is 32GB while J7 Prime only has 16GB in Pakitan market while both have 3GB of RAM.

So depends, if you’d fall for a higher resolution with a limited battery power or you’d prefer a moderate resolution with extraordinary battery life – sure we can’t tell if the massive battery could actually perform as assumed in the Y7 Prime until we review it. So you must hold on and wait for our review which is coming soon.

For now catch a direct feature comparison of both the Huawei Y7 Prime and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime below.
