Tecno Camon I launched in Pakistan, Price, Specs and Availability

Tecno Mobile, the first smartphone brand of TRANSSION Holdings, has launched its camera-centric “Camon I” smartphone in Pakistan. It’s company’s first smarphone with narrow bezels (or frameless as they call it) and Full View display under its Camon series.

Tecno Camon I – Key Features

After having merged with Infinix Mobile, it’s the first release of the company in Pakistan. The Camon I features a full-screen display with HD+ resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The phone has a 12.5% larger area of the screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

To support its camera focused category, Tecno launches the new phone with the tag line of “MAGIC IN ANY LIGHT”. Camon I features a 13 megapixel camera on the back as well as another 13MP camera on the front. Rear camera comes with quad-LED flash while the front has got only one. Tecno promises for its camera to perform better in low light conditions.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and the company claims it can unlock the device in just 0.15 second. It’s multi-function sensor like many other OEMs have provided.

Camon I features a MediaTek chipset MT6737 with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The phone has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with micro SD card support up to 128 GB. The phone connects on 4G LTE network and has a 3050 mAh battery capacity.

Running Android 7 Nougat, Camon I comes with HiOS flavor its own. Other features include “split-screen” for dual apps view, “eye-protection” to filter out disturbing blue light.

Price and Availability

Priced at Rs. 19,999/- the Camon I is now available in three colors – city blue, midnight black and champagne gold.
