Huawei launched 2018 editions of Y7 Prime, Y6 Prime and Huawei Y9 in Pakistan

Huawei has unveiled its line-up of Huawei Y Series 2018 in Pakistan. This year, the Huawei Y Series range includes Huawei Y7 Prime 2018, Huawei Y6 Prime 2018 and Huawei Y9 2018. With the launch of Huawei Y Series 2018, the company aims to go full circle by bringing its flagship features to more people.

The Huawei Y Series 2018 is created for Generation Z – which Huawei is referring to people who born and raised in the digital age. The company is describing Gen-Z is as youthful, energetic and highly tech-savvy. Huawei believes the technology is central to their lifestyles. The consumers of this generation want affordable smartphones that Huawei is addressing with the new Huawei Y Series 2018.

Huawei Y7 Prime 2018

Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 features a 5.99-inch 1440 x 720 Huawei FullView Display. The phone is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 combined with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

On the rear, there is 13MP+2MP dual camera for photography lovers. The wide aperture mode on the rear camera captures stunning details through its 13MP lens, while the 2MP lens takes crisp bokeh photos. The rear camera also has AR Lens mode, making photos more fun by adding exciting filters and animations. On the front-end, an 8MP camera with Selfie Toning Flash takes bright selfies while a ‘Translucent Light Lampshade’ rebalances lighting to make you look more vibrant and natural.

Y7 Prime 2018 runs Android Oreo 8.0 with EMUI 8.0 on top. The phone packs with a 3,000 mAh battery that promises to run throughout the day. In addition the Y7 Prime 2018 comes with high-precision Face Unlock and rear Fingerprint Unlock. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot along with two nano SIM crd slots.

Huawei Y9 2018

Huawei Y9 2018 shares most of the features with Y7 Prime. In addition the Y9 2018 comes with Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 659 processor and FHD+ resolution on same sized display of 5.9-inch.

Y9 2018 also packs with 8MP+2MP dual front camera in addition to 13MP+2MP dual rear camera. The phone also has bigger 4,000 mAh battery.

Huawei Y6 Prime 2018

Huawei Y6 Prime 2018 comes below the Y7 Prime 2018, focused more towards entertainment.

Prices and Availability

Huawei Y7 Prime 2018, after staying on pre-order for around a week, is now available in the market. The phone costs PKR 19,999/- Y7 Prime 2018 is available in three colors – black, blue and gold.

Huawei Y6 Prime 2018 and Huawei Y9 Prime 2018 will be available in Pakistan by the end of April. The prices of the respective devices will be revealed later.
