This is how a Camera centric Smartphone should be launched – Meet Huawei Experience Ambassadors

Huawei has just launched its most spectacular smartphone Huawei P20 Pro in Pakistan at an event in Lahore. The most interesting part of the event was the venue and the presentation of a product.

It was probably the best idea went through my experience in a smartphone launch history. You would have seen hundreds of launch events where the smartphone makers had preferred to bring up celebrities from across the industries but not limited to technology.

When it comes to Pakistan, you also have seen those companies held events like they were hosting some kind of fashion shows or a singing concert to launch a smartphone. Seriously, I always had my reservations about those launch events where you’d see more unrelated personnel than some relevant tech experts.

There were also the occasions when they called upon professional or well known photographers when they wanted to launch a smartphone that had photography genre. Still they never missed a chance to host you with music, singing and dancing. Dancing? okay, skip dancing.

On top of that, as the venue, they always chose some hotel, a big hall, expo centers and blah blah blah. But this time, Huawei Pakistan did something that triggered an interesting element in my mind when I received the invitation. I read the venue – “Ejaz Art Gallery”. It was interesting, though it was obvious that Huawei has planned some kind of photography exhibition to launch its triple camera boaster – P20 Pro.

May 12th, Saturday; the evening occurred, and the first time it felt like you were attending a camera launch event – not a smartphone’s. May be, I had a little interest in photography or what, but it was a brilliant idea for me. That’s because the event (or exhibition, I’d say) featured a spectacular work of Huawei’s Experience Ambassadors.

So who are these Experience Ambassadors? They were not some kind of well known celebs or artists but social media influencers who had photography skills. They used the Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P20 lite to take stunning shots of the world around them. Following is how Huawei introduces them to you.

Fahad Mahmood finds photography as a constant source of inspiration for his expeditions, and his quest to learn. He’s always been a livewire, communicating, evolving dialogues, exploring and absorbing nature; its expressions and reflections. Being an expressive soul, he

Mavikh Azam caught our eye for his sheer brilliance in smartphone photography. Being an engineering student and a photographer by hobby, he uses his cell phone to capture the world around him.
