OPPO F11 and OPPO F11 Pro officially announced – The Pro has a Pop-up Camera

After having teased for long, OPPO has announced its new F11 and F11 Pro. A notch display on the former and a pop-up selfie camera with the latter.

Both the phones are identical at most of the things inside and outside. However one key difference is the selfie camera. The OPPO F11 features a water-drop notch housing a selfie camera while the OPPO F11 Pro has a pop-up camera. OPPO calls it the “Rising selfie camera”.

OPPO F11 and F11 Pro, both the phones feature 6.53-inch screen. It’s an IPS display with full HD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The aftermath suggests that the display has over 85% screen-to-body ratio. The 19.5:9 aspect ratio display has the density of 395 ppi.

There is a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, driving the duo with the octa-core processor. Four high-performance Cortex-A73 cores are clocked at 2.1GHz while the other four high-efficiency cores of Cortex-A53 are clocked at 2.0.

The OPPO F11 Pro will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the F11 will pack with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The battery is identical with 4000mAh capacity and support proprietary fast charging with VOOC 3.0 – with claims of a full charge in 80 minutes. Interestingly the phones do not have USB Type-C port, but the old microUSB port.

As told above the major distinction is the placement of the selfie camera, both are identical in terms of numbers. It’s 16MP shooter with f/2.0 lens aperture on both F11 and F11 Pro. The F11 Pro’s pop-up camera is just similar to what you already have seen on Vivo V15 Pro smartphone.

On the back, there is a dual-camera with a primary 48-megapixel sensor paired with a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor. With a large f/1.79 lens aperture, the camera uses pixel-binning tech to produce a final 12MP shot with low-noise.

The depth-sensor, you know, would be working to deal with producing portrait shots with a few other features. It carries a lens with f/2.4 aperture. The system features Ultra Night mode separately for better and appealing night shots.

Pricing and Availability

The OPPO F11 and F11 Pro are currently available in India through Amazon. The OPPO F11 Pro will cost you $355 (or INR 24,990) and will be available in two colors – Thunder Black (triple-color gradient) or Aurora Green (double-color gradient).
