Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 set to go on shelves in Pakistan with Pop-up Camera and Notch-less display

The much awaited Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is now set to go on pre-orders from June 29th, 2019. The phone packs with really interested features including triple rear-cameras.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes with an all new Ultra FullView 6.59 inch display. The resolution is FHD+ and it’s entirely just the display with no bezels or notch.

The bezels in the phone house a few sensors but front camera goes into a pop-up module hidden inside the body. So that’s why you get a fullview notch-less display. It’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera that pops-up from the top of the phone when needed. Meanwhile, other components such as the receiver earpiece and ambient light sensor have been moved to the top and bottom of the screen respectively.

Y9 Prime 2019 is powered by Kirin 710F with octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz. GPU is Mali-G51 and the phone comes with 4GB RAM along with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. Expandable memory option is available via microSD card up to 1TB.

In addition to 16MP front camera, the phone packs with a triple camera setup on the back. It’s 16MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra wide-angel and 2MP depth sensor.

Running Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9 on top of it, the Y9 features a 4000 mAh battery. The phone comes with USB Type-C connectivity and its supports 18W fast charging.

Price and Availability

Pre-orders for the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 are set to begin on 29 June, 2019 for a price of PKR 33,999. Availability of the phone is expected early next month.
