Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Now Available in Pakistan – Overbooked by Three-Times of Y9 2019

The pre-order phase witnessed an overwhelming customers’ response by 300% over last year’s Huawei Y9 2019

During the nine-day pre-order phase, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 raked-in 300% more pre-orders its predecessor Huawei Y9 2019.

Dubbed as “mid-range killer”, the company has started the sales of latest Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in Pakistan. The smartphone comes with company’s first pop-up selfie camera, branded as “Auto Pop-up” camera.

The 16MP pop-up selfie camera results with a notch-less display on the front. It’s a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen with full HD resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels providing with a pixel density of 391ppi. With an improved model of Kirin 710 – dubbed as Kirin 710F and 128GB internal storage, the Y9 Prime 2019 costs PKR 33,999.

With this price tag, this phone is a tough contender among recently launched pop-up camera smartphones.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 Features

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is powered by Kirin 710F with octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz. GPU is Mali-G51 and the phone comes with 4GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage. Expandable memory option is available via microSD card up to 1TB.

The phone also packs a triple camera setup on the back with 16MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 16MP, AI enhanced pop-up selfie camera. The front camera equips with f/1.8 large aperture which is claimed to receive 50% more light than the commonly used f/2.2 aperture.

It is also equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.

Price and Availability

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has gone on sale for a price tag of PKR 33,999. It is available in three colors including Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Emerald Green.
