Credits to media outlets that by now people know that Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will not ship with Google apps pre-installed. People also had some hint that they would be able to install Google apps on Mate 30 series phones by unlocking bootloader, but that’s also not an option after the company has clearly stated their plans of keeping the bootloader locked.
Call it luck or anything, there is an even simpler solution than playing with your device like nerds and modifying the system. Such things appear first on Reddit first as usual, this one did too. The solution performs “no unlocking bootloader”, “no rooting”, or “hacking” stuff. It only requires you to download an app called “LZ Play”. Install it, and boom!
Sure the solution comes out of no-where that you may have been familiar with. So it’s “all you” who would trust it or not trust it.
Update 2019-10-02: This solution doesn’t work anymore
You should now be able to open the Google Play Store and sign in as you have been used to with. In case if you have issues, you may try restarting the device.
If you have got Huawei Mate 30 smartphone, let us know about your experience.
