It looks like the tipsters and leakers have left nothing for Huawei to surprise us on its tomorrow’s launch event. What’s more will you wish for when an unannounced flagship phone gets unboxed on TikTok?
While the event will focus on company’s Mate 30 lineup of flagship devices, the event is supposed to bring lot more than that including smartwatch, wrist band, a tablet and the company’s very own smart TV. In addition to Mate 30 series, Huawei is expected to launch the new Watch GT 2, the MediaPad M6, the Fitness Band, and a Huawei TV.
A couple of days ago, Even Blass tweeted an array of official renders of Mate 30 lineup, including Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, a Lite and Porsche Design editions. Now we have an unexpected short video of Mate 30 Pro unboxing.
The video was initially published on weibo, and later uploaded on YouTube for not being able to embed from weibo directly. There is another short video too showing off the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
The following photographs are showing the already familiar circular camera module on the back of Mate 30 Pro. On the right, the same phone has a wider notch.
We know that the Mate 30 lineup won’t be running a licensed Android version or Google’s official apps. Instead, it will be running its EMUI software based on AOSP.
The company’s Harmony OS is supposed to run other smart devices that the company is expected to announced on September 19th. According to Android Headlines, Huawei will be launching, along with Mate 30 series, a new smartwatch, a fitness band a smart TV, and a tablet.
The smartwatch, Huawei Watch GT 2 will be available in two colors — reports Android Headlines. There could be two versions, one with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display and the second with a 1.39-inch display following the company’s previous offering. Watch GT 2 will have the Huawei’s new A1 chip and will be sold along with Freebuds 3.
Huawei has also planned to announce a new fitness band. The device reportedly equips with GPS, a motion sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, an air pressure sensor, and an optical heart rate sensor. Leaked images also show that the band will also have a built-in USB connector for charging.
Huawei has plans to launch its new Huawei-branded TV as well. It will run Harmony OS — company’s proprietary operating system. Like Honor Vision, the Huawei TV will also feature a pop-up camera facing front.
According to same report, Huawei is also about to launch the 10.8-inch MediaPad M6. It’s the same tablet that the company released in China back in July.
This is a huge set of leak that includes the whole stack of lineup a company is about to announce officially. We rarely witness that kind of leak. It’s just a day ahead, the company will announce this stuff. So sit tight and hold on for detailed features of these devices and pricing.
