Vivo V17 Pro to feature Dual Pop-up Front Cameras – Purported Camera Samples from Quad Rear Cameras

Vivo V17 has been in rumors and for quite a while and we have witnessed some leaked images and in fact a video too which looks like an official promo. Now we have some official render images and specs too.

Like more recently, Vivo has proven to be most innovative smartphone maker. From under-display fingerprint sensor to a pop-up camera design that let the company offer pure full-view display. Both the designs are now have been adopted very well by other manufacturers. Vivo doesn’t seem to slow down right now.

Taking the pop-up front camera to next level, Vivo’s next smartphone is expected to have dual front camera setup inside a wider elevating camera module. With that, the V17 Pro is also rumored to have quad-camera setup on the back.

Courtesy of WinFuture that we now have some more information about the upcoming V17 Pro. The smartphone is supposed to feature a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution of 1080×2440 pixels That’s a 21:9 aspect-ratio display. An in-display fingerprint sensor stays there as it is in V15 Pro — expect improvement though.

According to the sourced information, the front dual-camera in Vivo V17 Pro will be a pair of 32-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the back, the phone will reportedly feature a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle. The remaining two cameras could be a depth-sensor and telephoto camera. It’s also rumored to have, instead of that telephoto camera, a camera would help to implement company’s announced special night mode.

Vivo V17 Pro will reportedly include the same Snapdragon 675 as it’s in V15 Pro. The octa-core processor will however be paired with 8GB of RAM. The system will offer 128GB of internal storage and will run Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Additionally the V17 Pro will support Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. V17 Pro is supposed to to have a 4,100mAh battery.

Previously a leaked video promo was shared by a tipster showcasing Vivo V17 Pro with “Wider Selfie, Clearer Night” as its tagline. The video further hints about dual pop-up selfie camera as well as the AI-powered rear camera.

The same tipster also shared some photos purported to be from Vivo V17 Pro’s camera. The photos are extensively proving about some sort of collaboration between the Chinese company and Nat Geo Traveler India — perhaps for promotion.
