If you had seen Samsung’s 108MP sensor announcement in August, you would already have an idea that Xiaomi was going to offer the highest resolution camera with that large sensor. Now the company has turned that idea into reality. Xiaomi’s Mi Note 10 will be the first-ever smartphone to offer a primary camera with resolution over 100 million effective pixels.
The company has been teasing the community over at Twitter with its upcoming smartphone that will feature the company’s first 108MP Penta-camera setup.
The camera configuration will carry an array of five cameras including the 108MP unit as its primary camera, a 5MP 50x telephoto, 12MP portrait, a 20MP ultrawide angle, and a 2MP macro. This whole camera setup will be supported by Quad-LED (two Dual-LED modules) beside them.
Xiaomi started teasing on October 31st with images shot on Mi Note 10 with 108MP Penta camera. One of them is below.
The company also shared a small video clip showcasing the 50x zoom feature of the camera.
The Mi Note 10 is supposed to be the global variant of the China-limited Mi CC9 Pro which is set to launch on November 5th, GSM Arena reported earlier. Considering the fact, the Mi Note 10 should feature the following.
The Mi Note 10 is reported to be introduced globally on November 14th. The pricing and availability will also be revealed during the announcement.
