Nokia C1 launched in Pakistan, costs Rs. 8,500

HMD has announced the new entry-level Nokia C1. Running Android 9 Pie Go Edition, the phone is affordable with other features like 2500 mAh battery and 1GB RAM.

Weighing only 155 grams, the phone packs with a 5.45″ IPS screen with FWVGA+ display resolution of 960×480 pixels. With 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the phone offers a 1GB RAM and a 16GB of internal storage. It supports memory expansion up to 64 GB.

Nokia C1 features a 5-megapixels front camera for selfies. There is another 5-megapixels main camera on the back. The phone runs on Go Edition of Android 9 Pie operating system and packs with a 2500 mAh battery with 5-watt charging.

The Nokia C1 has a stylish metallic finish and is built with a durable polycarbonate cover. The phone comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button – The fastest way to your Google Assistant to help you get things easily. You just need to press the Google Assistant button and find out the latest weather, news, sports information, call your family, play videos and more.

With Go edition of the software, the phone comes with YouTube Go that offers to watch videos offline, in addition to using helpful apps like Google Maps on the Google Play Store.

Android 9 Pie (Go edition) is built leaner, faster, and safer than ever before, so you can go bigger in everything you do. For example, Google Maps Go provides your location, real-time traffic updates and directions, plus train, bus, and city transit information. You can even search and find phone numbers, addresses, and information about millions of places.

Pricing and availability

The Nokia C1 comes with 1GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage and will be available in Black and Red from 1 January at a retail price of PKR 8,500/-.
