MediaTek’s Helio G70 kicks out the Snapdragon 665 badly in a Video Comparsion

MediaTek’s Helio G-Series once again proved to be a stunner

Featuring only in Realme C3 yet, the Helio G70 is a new processor MediaTek introduced just last month. Helio G70 follows the company’s new G-series chips made for gaming. To prove its power, MediaTek has put the chip against Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 665.

There is a wide range of devices running with Snapdragon 665 but MediaTek chose the OPPO A9 2020 for the comparison. On the other hand, there was none other than Realme C3 that has featured the latest Helio G70.

The comparison covers three factors — the benchmark scores, app launch time, and the games launch time. The game-play was not compared though.

Benchmark test was performed with four apps — AnTuTu, Geekbench, 3D Mark, and GFXBench. Scoring 1,93,790 on AnTuTu, the Helio G70 topped all the four benchmark tests.

Also, note that Realme C3 was running the latest AnTuTu version 8.2.2 whereas the OPPO A9 was running v8.0.6. But still, there was a huge difference between scores so it shouldn’t be a matter of version.

Realme C3 also won the app launch time phase with opening the YouTube app faster than the other contender. Flipkart app was also tested that ended up at tying on both phones.

Game launch time was compared with popular titles such as Call of Duty, Asphalt 9, and PUBG mobile. Realme C3 also took the lead here.
