Realme C3 may kill the Realme 5i sales being better at the performance
Realme launched two new handsets in Pakistan — the Realme 5i and Realme C3. Both of the phones target budget segment of the market whereas the Realme 5i is claimed to be “battery king” while the C3 is being called a “game monster”.
Well, “battery king” is understandable as the budget segment is now common to offer large batteries. Realme 5i has a massive 5000 mAh battery capacity. Claimed to last 30 days on standby, the phone is retailed at PKR 25,000. That’s indeed an eye-catching factor when coupled with a quad-camera setup.
But a phone that costs as lower as PKR 21,000, can carry a tag line of “game monster”, is little hard to digest. But it indeed could be, in this price segment, with a recently launched MediaTek’s Helio G70. The exact chip in the exact smartphone has already beaten the Snapdragon 665 running OPPO A9 2020.
It seems to be a miscalculation by Realme Pakistan that it launched the Realme 5i with the Snapdragon 665 right on the same time with Realme C3. So why will you buy an expensive Realme 5i which might be a less performer than its cheaper cousin, Realme C3?
Just go ahead and see the difference between the two and see if you should go with Realme 5i or better buy the stunner Realme C3.
