Huawei’s latest Nova 7i has just finished its two-week pre-booking phase and is now available in Pakistan. The smartphone offers the company’s latest mid-range 7nm chipset, Kirin 810. 40W Huawei SuperCharge, a 48MP Quad Camera and 8GB RAM are the key features of the smartphone.
The Huawei Nova 7i is powered by a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset with an octa-core processor. The CPU is coupled with two high-performance cores of Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.27 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.88 GHz. There is Mali-G52 GPU with cores.
The new Nova 7i features a large 6.4-inch hole-punch display. It’s an IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution of 2310 x 1080 pixels. The screen offers a pixel density of 398 PPI. Single memory configuration comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone does not support micro SD card; instead for memory expansion, the phone offers the company’s proprietary NM SD card.
The Nova 7i is packed with a 48MP quad-camera setup on the back with f/1.8 lens aperture. The main camera is accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 lens aperture.
The main camera has a 1/2-inch type sensor intended to take brighter pictures in even the darkest environments. Artificial Intelligence enables more electronic image stabilization.
A fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. The phone also has built-in NFC and features USB Type-C connectivity over USB 2.0. Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi are also supported.
First of all, the Nova 7i targets geeky-gamers and social-media enthusiasts. On top of that, a 40W Huawei SuperCharge is also a positive factor that enables the 4,200 mAh battery to charge up to 70% within 30 minutes (according to Huawei lab test).
Last but not the least, the Huawei Nova 7i comes with Android 10 and EMUI 10.0 out of the box. As with the recent Huawei smartphones, the Huawei Nova 7i does not run Google apps/services. Instead of Google Play Store, the Nova 7i bundles with the company’s own Huawei AppGallery.
The Huawei Nova 7i costs PKR 43,999 in Pakistan. The phone is now available in the market in three colours – Sakura Pink, Crush Green and Midnight Black. In addition to stores nationwide, the Nova 7i is also available to buy online at Daraz.pk.
