PM Imran Khan concerned about growing obscenity, wants apps like TikTok banned – Shibli Faraz

Shibli Faraz, the information minister, has disclosed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the government authorities to ban internet applications such as TikTok having concerns over growing obscenity and vulgarity.

The information minister told the press that Imran Khan had urged to take good care of the social media channels that are propagating or helping to grow obscenity and vulgarity in the country.

The PM, according to the minister, also associated the increase in rape cases to the growing vulgarity on such social applications. He mentioned that there is a reason the PM believes the apps like TikTok are causing damage to the core values of socio-religious values of the society. Therefore these apps must be banned.
