Spotify now available in Pakistan – Here are the Plans and Prices

Mobile Billing is a little expensive than if you buy with a credit or debit card

Home to 345 million monthly listeners, Spotify is already here in Pakistan offering the audio streaming experience in local and international music. You can now head over to your smartphone app store and download the app right away in Pakistan. No, it won’t show a most familiar message – Spotify is not available in your country.

The Spotify app is free to download. Ad-based free experience is already there and you have the option to upgrade to Spotify Premium for Rs. 299 per month for a single account. You can also subscribe to the Duo plan that costs Rs. 390 per month for 2 accounts. Similarly, there is a Family plan that costs Rs. 479 per month for up to 6 accounts.

Spotify premium plans come with dedicated features like ad-free music, offline access to music, on-demand playback, block explicit music. There is also a Student plan for Rs. 149 per month that which is offered only to eligible students in universities.

The Individual and Student plans also have prepaid options. All the plans offer a 1-month free trial with the option to cancel anytime. Though the charges will apply after one month, you will need to provide credit/debit card details. Billing by network operators is also available – see after the break.

Spotify is currently offering Telenor and Zong 4G subscribers to Pay by Mobile option for a little higher price tag. However, you will need to buy at least two months of subscription to any plan.
