Realme has globally launched its Realme 8 series on March 24, 2021. Realme 8 series includes two models, Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The phones are expected to land in Pakistan real soon with the price somewhere between PKR 55,000 and PKR 66,000.
However, these prices seem too high, as Realme 8 price should range between PKR 35,000 to PKR 40,000. Realme 8 Pro, on the other hand, should cost somewhere between PKR 40,000 to PKR 50,000.
Realme held an online Camera Innovation Event announcing its first 108MP camera in the then-upcoming Realme 8 series. Along with the 108 MP camera, we have the world’s first Starry Time-lapse Video, the world’s first tilt-shift time-lapse video and new portrait filters.
This is some exciting news for Pakistani customers coming with a “Capture the Infinity” theme. The 108MP Ultra Quad Camera packs with a Samsung HM2 Sensor along with an upgraded ultra-clear 108MP Mode and a 119° ultra-wide-angle lens.

Realme 8 Pro features a 6.4-inch screen with full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. With 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, it provides 1,000 nits max brightness and a 180Hz touch response rate.
Inside, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with Adreno 618 GPU. Bundled with an 8GB or 6GB RAM options the Realme 8 Pro has a 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage, also expandable via miroSD card slot.
Realme 8 Pro runs Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 on top. and has packed a 4,500mAh battery with the support of 50-watt fast charging.
Realme 8 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup – 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary sensor with an f/1.88 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle f/2.25 lens with 119-degree field-of-view (FoV), a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter with Sony IMX471 sensor inside and an f/2.45 aperture lens in the punch-hole display.
The standard Realme 8 comes with the same display features as Realme 8 Pro. It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It comes with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that is also expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. However, the RAM options are 4GB, 6GB or 8GB.
The Realme 8 sports a larger 5,000mAh battery with the support for 30-fast charging. The phone also runs the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
Realme 8 comes with a 64-megapixel main camera, instead of the 108MP in Pro variant, with an f/1.79 lens. The other three cameras are the same as in Realme 8 Pro. So is the 16MP selfie shooter.
